The Lumenite(R) Light Sleeve is a high performance photoluminescent (HPPL) lighting product using a completely safe, non-radioactive metal oxide mineral that occurs naturally.

It absorbs energy from any light source (with UV content), then, when there’s a blackout, brown out, power failure or a smoke filled environment, it automatically emits light that remains visible all night. All Lumenite(R) Light Sleeves will continue to perform for at least 10 years.

Immediate Illumination.

The Lumenite(R) Light Sleeve’s translucent, tubular design slips easily over your existing fluorescent lamps. Held in place with end caps, provided, it then “soaks up” energy from your powered fluorescent tube. When the lights go off, for whatever reason, the Lumenite(R) Light Sleeve “kicks in” to give off immediate illumination. The Lumenite(R) Light Sleeve even provides good illumination in a smoke filled environment.

A guaranteed evacuation system that does not rely on mains power or batteries, works every time and requires no testing or maintenance! It does not get any easier, or safer, than that.

Install Lumenite(R) Light Sleeves in all egress routes, by covering all fluorescent tubes illuminating stairwells, fire escapes, hallways, fire exits, elevators and underground or covered car parks. Pathway marking is also capable of replacing overhead emergency lighting. It does not matter how bright emergency lighting was designed to be if it is not operating or cannot penetrate the smoke

Use for 10 to 20% of all tubes in working areas so that, in the event of a power failure nobody is left in the dark or subjected to the dangers inherent during an unlit evacuation.
